Bid online now through Wednesday, June 25th at alderferauction.com.  This auction will begin closing at 8 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

Among the highlights is a 14k yellow gold ring set with diamonds, emeralds, and rubies. Several unique necklaces are also featured, including a silver Indian torque warla necklace with an interior diameter of approximately 6.5", and a wooden hand-carved pendant necklace with beadwork on an 18" string.

A number of artist-made pieces are included, such as a silver and bronze beaded necklace by Mary and Doug Hancock, and a pair of bronze and bead earrings by the same artists. Additional distinctive designs include a multi-strand butterscotch amber necklace and a silver and turquoise beaded necklace with matching earrings.

International and indigenous influences appear throughout the collection. Notable examples include a Native American turquoise and coral watch band, a Zuni sterling and turquoise ring, and a sterling and onyx ring marked "Mexico." Other international items include an Indian silver bangle bracelet with bells and a Peruvian mixed metal cuff bracelet with figural decoration.

Sterling silver is a common material across many of the lots, including a twisted sterling collar necklace, a Taxco sterling brooch, and several other rings and pendants set with turquoise, moonstone, or coral. The auction also includes a gold-washed sterling collar necklace and a sterling and turquoise cross pendant marked "Sterling FJ."

Beaded jewelry is well represented, with examples like a 10-strand turquoise and coral necklace, a lapis chip necklace with sterling beads, and a graduated coral necklace with matching earrings.

Collectible designer and studio pieces are also present, such as a stylized sterling and onyx ring marked “Beau,” and several necklaces and pendants attributed to various studios or marked with artist initials.

This auction also includes groupings of vintage costume and stone jewelry. These lots consist of items such as a necklace and clip earring set by La Rel, groupings of cloisonné jewelry, and a mixed lot of lapis, onyx, and turquoise bead necklaces.
