Bid online now through Tuesday, August 26th at alderferauction.com This auction will begin closing at 7 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

 

 

Medal offerings range from an 1876 Philadelphia Centennial Medal with Original Box to a 1829 Andrew Jackson Indian Peace Medal, alongside large mixed lots of political, Civil War, military, banking, and transportation medals and tokens.

Foreign coin listings include large mixed lots with silver content, such as Spanish 8 Reale (1798 XF), Connecticut Copper, Canadian silver dimes and quarters, and ancient coins. Many lots include both coins and currency.

 

U.S. proof and mint set offerings are extensive, with examples like 1958 Mint Set, 1963 and 1964 Proof Sets, 1964 Mint Sets in quantity, 1966 and 1967 Special Mint Sets, and later proof set runs from the 1970s to the 2000s, some in silver editions.

 

Circulated coin groupings include large lots of Lincoln Wheat, Buffalo Nickels, and various mixed U.S. coin lots containing Indian Head Cents, Liberty V Nickels, Barber Dimes and Quarters, Standing Liberty Quarters, and Morgan and Peace Dollars.

Notable type coin entries include Indian Cent (1888 UNC), Seated Half Dime (1872 G), Seated Dimes (1853 G, 1888 VF), Twenty Cent Piece (1875-S G), and Seated Half (1858-O F+), along with several Columbian Expo Halves.

 

Silver content lots are substantial, with multiple entries of 90% U.S. Silver Coins, as well as 40% Kennedy Half Dollar accumulations. There are also Silver Proof Sets and large foreign silver coins with silver rounds.

 

Additional pieces include a 1995 Paralympics Canceled Proof Die with Paperwork, state quarter sets, Ike dollar binders, modern silver commemoratives, and various U.S. note issues such as 1953 $2 Legal Tender Notes and 1935F Silver Certificates.
