REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid. These terms are in addition to all other posted information, if any. Auctioneers reserve the right to reject any or all bids and reserve the right to bid on behalf of an absentee bidder.

PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Buyers acknowledge that auction sites may include uneven terrain, agricultural land, gravel surfaces, or other non-paved areas. Removal is undertaken entirely at the buyer's risk. Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. Dates and times for pickup will be posted on our website. Do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up. Any bidder who has a winning bid and fails to pay, not respond to calls and/or emails will be banned from bidding in future auctions. Great West reserves the right to dispose of or resell items that are not picked up in lieu of storage fees.

PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. Payment is made at pickup (cash, Visa, MasterCard, or debit) or ahead of pickup by E-transfer. Any purchaser who wants their items shipped (when shipping is available) must pay by E-transfer. E-transfer email is accounting@greatwestteam.com

TECHNICAL & WEATHER-RELATED DISRUPTIONS: The auction company is not responsible for missed bids, delays, or failures in the bidding process caused by internet disruptions, equipment malfunctions, platform outages, other technical issues beyond its control, or adverse weather conditions. The auction company reserves the right to pause, extend, or reschedule the auction in the event of such issues. All decisions of the auction company shall be final.

BUYERS: The BUYER: Expressly agrees to indemnify and save Great West, the Seller, and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage, or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of Great West , or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of auction. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age.

RESERVE: Seldom are items sold with Reserve. If an item is being sold with a reserve, it will be clearly marked and identified. For items sold with a 'reserve', you will be required to pay a minimum amount in order to win the item.

AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records.

CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an (as is) where is basis, with all faults. Note: Sizes are approximate and not guaranteed to be exact.

SHIPPING (where available): Please see individual lot for shipping availability. If you are unsure, call the office to enquire. Please notify office in advance if you will require shipping. All shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder. We reserve the right to ask for ID to be sent to confirm address and information prior to payment processing. Items that are taken to a 3rd party shipper, Spark Business Solutions, Sarnia (519-542-7877). Great West Auction Company will charge $5 to $35 to deliver to third party shipper. Any shipping disputes need to be handled with the shipping company. If a dispute arises and an item is being returned, the cost of shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. OFF-SITE AUCTIONS: Off-site auctions are all auctions not held at the Great West Auction Building, 4066 Brigden Road, Petrolia, ON. All items must be picked up for off-site auctions. If winning bidder is unable to pickup at the site and needs items brought back to Great West Auction for later pickup, it must be arranged in advance, if/when the service is available. There will be a transportation fee starting at $10 per lot. Not all items are able to be transported by our staff, and this service is not always available. Failure to pickup or make alternate arrangements will result in removal fees and it will become property of Great West
