From accessing what we had to staging the sale for photos to inviting a massive list of buyers and then to running the sale. Well worth paying him a commission to eliminate the headache . We had a house with 18 years of “stuff” from legos to electronics and Chris sold just about everything—including food in the pantry. The team was professional and efficient. We might have been able to sell some of our things, and initially we tried to do that, but we had no clear sense of pricing or good way to access specific buyers. | I needed to empty a huge home filled with decades of personal items, furniture and general “stuff”. I reached out to Chris’ company after finding them online and reading consistently positive reviews. Chris himself took the time to met me at my Mom’s house and he was friendly, professional, enthusiastic and reassuring. He was confident that he was up to the task of holding a 2-day estate sale and then also handling a final cleanout if desired. In one day, he staged a huge home beautifully, taking almost 500 creative photos of our personal items. The sale was very successful and it was run responsibly, professionally and safely. His men conducted the final cleanout over 3 days, filling 3 large dumpsters. I could not have accomplished what Chris and his team were able to do and I am grateful for his services. Other companies were not up to the task or wanted to cherry-pick items of high value. Chris accepts his customers, their homes, and personal items as they are. He offers his services to a wide array of people in different and sometimes stressful circumstances, without discrimination, and does so with understanding, patience and compassion. He is a gentleman and works extremely hard to run a reputable business. Between the physical labor and the record he provides of the sales, he earns his commission. | I highly recommend Chris and his team whom I hired to conduct an estate sale at my mother’s house after her death. I considered it a daunting task; Chris didn’t blink. | Awesome Estate Sale and clean out. When our mother passed away unexpectedly in January we were tasked with cleaning out her condo. We were making plans for an estate sale when along came COVID. We were forced to delay the sale but as soon as it was safe Chris and his team were ready. Chris was wonderful to work with always getting back to me immediately when I had questions. They staged my mother’s belongings great and were able to sell many items that I thought would be tough such as Dining room and bedroom sets as well as China and holiday decorations. We met with Chris to ask if he could assist us in cleaning out the house of a good friend of our who had died. We wanted to be involved as little as possible in the actual process. Chris handled everything from a one day Estate Sale at the property to donating and delivering items that did not sell to having a dumpster delivered and all remaining "trash" taken care of. I have been attending these well run prolific events at every opportunity over a period of years and have yet to walk away unsatisfied or empty handed. Chris' sales are not the only ones that I attend but in my opinion he and his friendly team make these well organized, well run and fairly priced quality estate sales among the very best in Massachusetts. | "Calling Chris was the best decision I made during the process of selling my house and downsizing. After living in my home for 29 years I was faced with the daunting task of what to do with everything. Chris and his staff took care of everything. Boxes were opened that I hadn't looked at in years. The contents of my home was staged, photographed and priced prior to sale day. The day of the sale was mid-week and very rainy. I was shocked to see people waiting at the house for more than 2 hours for the sale to open. Despite the weather there was a steady stream of people until the end of the sale. There wasn't much left when Chris and crew left! The crew were so nice and professional and they worked so hard all day moving items around the house to get the best exposure to sell.

I am glad we found Best Rate, because the other services we talked to would have all cost us at least a few thousand dollars for the cleanout, since they didn't think there was much to sell. | When we had to arrange to clean out Mom's house to prepare for its sale, the thought of the process was quite overwhelming. A friend who frequently attends estate sales suggested that there was too much to sell on our own and he recommended Chris from Best Rate Cleanouts.

It was tentatively planned nearly 2 years in advance and Chris was graciously able to be flexible in twice updating tentative estate sale dates as my situation evolved. Ultimately, Chris was professional in coming well in advance to take photos, then subsequently do staging and pricing. Finally, at the estate sale itself, Chris was effective at selling a good number of items, cooperating with me and neighbors on a few exceptions (patio planters, mattresses,..), completing the estate sale, and cleaning out to broom-swept condition all remains as discussed and reviewed. | On Saturday, November 19, 2016, I had an Estate Sale at my home run by Best Rate Cleanouts & Estate Sales. This organization, led by owner Chris Jordan, was fantastic and met my expectations and more! My home is a large antique and Chris and his staff treated my goods, my home and my "customers" with respect. The staff carried items to the car for patrons. This ensured that my home did not get dings, and paint scrapes and I appreciated the care. And the patrons appreciated the help!
From 9-2, the sale was busy! Although I was not there during the sale, through the beauty of Face Book, I had reports on the great traffic from the sale in REAL TIME! I was delighted that most of all the material in my home was sold. This was huge to me as I am down sizing and needed to find a new home for most of my "stuff!" Many people from town attended and purchased, and many people from Chris' mailing list attended too. Incredible that in 5 hours my goal of emptying my home and making some money at the same time, was accomplished. WIN-WIN!!!
Chris is spot on at marking items in the correct range for a sale and I loved having people in my town tell me they were thrilled with the great stuff they purchased and at a reasonable price.
At the end of the sale the staff gathered anything remaining in each room into one corner and swept floors. It made it easy for me to then repack remnants and get them into the garage for a Salvation Army and Habitat Pick Up. Plus, Chris will come prior to my home selling to assist with a final clean up.
I could not have done this without Chris and his team. Susan at the cash register and inventory list, as well as other staff and members of Chris' family were excellent in monitoring the sale and getting the job done. Because of them, I can breathe easy and know that when my home sells, I will not be stressed trying to get out of the home. The lion share of the moving and selling of furnishings has been done and done efficiently.
I recommend Best Rate Cleanouts & Estate Sales to anyone needed help getting ready to downsize! As a realtor, I recommend this firm to my clients frequently! | After reading many reviews for lots of Estate Sale companies, I decided to talk to Chris & Sue from Best Rate. They came to my house and walked around looking at everything. It was clear to me that they are very knowledgeable about antiques, artwork, sports memorabilia, collectibles and just about anything else. Aside from offering a reasonable split of the proceeds, I was impressed that they take credit cards and help buyers move heavy items from the house in order to prevent damage to your home.
A few weeks prior to the sale, Chris came to the house to take pictures. He rearranged items so they looked great in the pictures. A few days prior to the sale he & Sue came back to price everything.
The day of the sale they arrived bright and early to set up & prepare for the day. There was someone manning each floor and the garage where Sue set up a check out area. Then from their vast list of email contacts, buyers began to arrive. When I returned at the end of the sale, I was floored at how much they sold.
They are very professional, knowledgeable, and honest. They do their research to assure you they are pricing your possessions to sell at a fair and market value.
I can't say enough how pleased my husband and I were with the results.

| Chris Jordan and the entire staff from Best Rate Cleanouts & Estate Sales did all the things necessary to make the sale at my house successful and problem-free. From the initial walk-through to the setting up and pricing of items to be sold, they were knowledgeable and skilled. I couldn't believe how efficiently and systematically they worked to display each item at its best. Despite the large volume of items and work to be done, they accomplished it all without seeming to rush. This reassured me that I could trust them to properly handle the sale of my possessions.
On the very cold day of the sale they arrived early, set up the cashier's table, and gave out numbers to the buyers already waiting. From the time the sale opened to the end of the day they managed the number of people in my house at any given time, collected payment for sales, and when necessary, safely moved furniture out the door to buyer's waiting cars. At the end of the day they left my house neat and swept the floors.
They agreed to postpone the cleanout to allow me time to make donations of items remaining. They paid me promptly, and completed the cleanout according to my schedule. I can't say anything more except thank-you, Chris, I couldn't have done this on my own!

Everyone on staff is pleasant and makes you want to return for the next sale. Each time we attend a sale we can honestly talk to any new attendees around us and tell them they've made a good choice and will have a pleasant experience. We've never been disappointed in a sale and I don't think we have every left empty handed! Great company and fabulous group of people. |

We held a two day estate sale for our home in Harvard Mass which was a huge success. Best Rate Cleanouts delivered on everything.
Friendly courteous staff, professional and on time. Friends and family who attended the sale were impressed at the teams professional service.
We had well over 300 people day one, no damage to our home at all. They put down paper on all floors, handled removal of all furniture and pictures and made sure no more than 40 people were in home at a time.
From the signage throughout the home and police detail controlling traffic this company knows how to run a successful sale. Pricing was fair and realistic which enabled us to ease our move to Az on schedule without any hiccups. Oh and we received our check ahead of schedule!

When my family decided to move to a smaller home, we were overwhelmed by the amount of “stuff” we no longer needed and had to get rid of. Chris Jordon and his staff are extremely customer centric. They addressed all of our concerns from what areas of our home we wanted blocked, protecting our wood floors to security. Chris is a master at his craft, he knows how to price the objects in your home so they will sell! Chris and his staff are professional, warm and friendly. In fact, Best Rate Cleanouts has a huge following. My husband and I were shocked on the first day of our estate sale. Although the sale did not start until 9:00am there were people lined up at 4am outside our door! I had been to estate sales held by various companies in the region. | I'm not sure where to begin. After the death of both my parents within a year I faced the challenge of clearing out their house (which I lived in for almost all of my life). Surrounded by MANY memories and the knowledge that the house was going to be torn down, I was nothing short of a mess. Chris, the owner, was nothing but kind, compassionate, accommodating, and professional. I have never met a person who truly cared about someone who they never met. He had respect for me AND my deceased parents. I never felt like he didn't have my best interest or wasn't willing to go the extra mile to make me feel better. I highly recommend Chris and his crew. The Estate Sale was professional and well done. Their clean out left me with nothing left to do but remember my parents fondly. Bottom line, I couldn't recommend them more. |

| We were planning a very long distance move and needed to sell the majority of our belongings. Chris was very responsive, prompt, and professional. He came to assess what would be needed and to explain his services and commission. He was prompt and thorough in communications. He was on schedule and complete in the two preparation visits for publicity photos and staging/pricing. On the day of the sale his crew was friendly, very well organized, and professional. They drew a very large crowd of customers and sold more than we expected. They were very careful to protect the house while moving furniture out for customers. | After interviewing three local estate sale companies, our family decided to use Best Rate Cleanouts. Chris and his crew were polite and professional from start to finish. They did a great job of displaying and organizing furniture, art, tools, curios and making it all look appealing. We were advised on what items would readily sell, but we also appreciated Chris’ honesty in letting us know what items might be harder to sell at our estate sale. Each family has unique items, and in our case, we had some early American artifacts and artwork that we weren’t sure of the value. Chris took the extra time to research each item, determine its value, and get the best price for us. Dealers were lined up before dawn!
